DAY 1: CUSCO – OLLANTAYTAMBO – KM 104 – SUN GATE MACHU PICCHU – AGUAS CALIENTES – CUSCO

We begin the tour with the pick-up from your hotel at 3:40 am in Cusco for the trip with our private bus transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station. we will take the train 6:10 am, After 1 hour and 15 minutes on the Expedition train trip, we arrive at Kilometer 104 (2,100 m / 6,927 feet) of the Cusco-Machu Picchu road, where we start your trip and pass through the first check Point.

Then, we begin a climb for two hours and 40 minutes to the incredible archaeological site of Wiñay Wayna (8,748 feet). Once we arrive, you will appreciate the spectacular views of the Sacred Valley canyon, the impressive Inca sites and the connection to the four-day Inca Trail.
